Vision: Islamic Family Services strives to become the organization of choice to provide various support, resources and services for men, women and families in need across the state of Connecticut.

Mission Statement: Built on the teachings of the Quran Al-Kareem and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (sal Allaho alaihe was sallam), Islamic Family Services serves as:

• a bridge of social, psychological and economic support for individuals and families in need in Connecticut, 
• an advocate for their basic human needs, and
• an aide in helping the families transition to becoming benevolent contributing members of society.

The IFS aims to include, but is not limited to, providing transitional housing for women and children:

• nutritional meals to families with limited resources spiritual and emotional support for those experiencing difficulties, and support for students as they pursue their education. 
• Islamic Family Services strives to build healthy Connecticut households by increasing, strengthening and supporting family and community-based options during challenging times, while at the same time upholding the dignity and independence of our clients. 

Our pool of dedicated volunteers are well-versed in maintaining confidentiality and privacy in all matters.
